Supt.David Fletcher, Sr. is a husband, father and proud grandfather. He has been married to Evangelist Ellen. M. Walker Fletcher for nearly  40 years. They have two sons, Mark QuoVadis (wife Linda Fletcher) and David W. Fletcher, Jr. (wife Shantere Fletcher); two daughters Treena Renee Fletcher Eaddy and Elizabeth Curtis; six grandsons; and two granddaughters, Chelby and J'Sha. Supt.Fletcher hails from the cities of Welborn, oakland Part, ft. lauderdale & Lauderhill, Florida. In 1987, he was appointed Pastor of the St Thomas Church of God in Christ in West Palm Beach, Florida. under the unction of the Holy Ghost, in 1995, he founded Friendly Tabernacle COGIC. Supt. Fletcher has been a member of the Church of God in Christ for over 45 years under the pastorage and tuteledge of Bishop Harvey David Bryan, Sr. and the Late Pastor Raymond walker, Sr. At Emmauel Church of God in Christ on Sunday nights, he was one of the "Broadcast Preachers" for 10 years without fail.

In 1958, he was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. As a result of "God's Directed Praise", God released his spiritual gifts on his life. Not only was Pastor Fletcher blessed in his relationship with God, but also in his relationship with man.

He was educated through the Broward County Public School System. He graduated from Dillard high School in June of 1962. After high school, he attended Broward Community College and several insurance seminars where he attained several degrees. As a business major, God didn't just elevate him within the retail and insurance area and as manager for ITS Skycaps at the Hollywood/ Ft. Lauderdale International Airport, he also elevated him in the church. From a choir member, Sunday School teacher, Family Bible Study director, junior deacon; minister; elder, pastor, then superintendent. He also served as director Counseling and Marriage Seminars. Presently, he serves in several positions in the Western Florida Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, under the leadership of the late Bishop Harvey David Bryan, Sr. Jurisdicational Prelate. He is Chairman of the Pastors & Elders Council, Director of Convention Services, Director of Public relations, and traveling Ambassador for the Bishop. Through all the paths that Superintendent Fletcher has traveled; his humility has led him to this simple philoshpy "Through it All, I've Learned to Trust in Jesus'.
